may i ask how many students applied for shifting into those programs? i’ve heard from people that every year CBA gets too many applications. hehe. trenta (or is it 20?) pesos din yun per person. hehe.

The fees paid don’t go directly to CBA but instead become part of a general fund for the entire UP system. So nde talaga directly nagbe-benefit ang BA dito. But yes, there really are a lot of applicants who wanted to shift to BA. For this year, only 1/3 of them were admitted.

Just submit your application and the Admissions Committee will process it. Subjects normally credited are RGEP subjects and courses included in the BAA curriculum which you have already taken.

Ang CBA ba nagaaccept ng AA graduates from other countries? Like US. Pagtapos ko kasi ng AA ko ay gusto ko magcontinue sa BSBA or BSBAA. Pwede ba yun?

Why nearly 100 applicants are admitted? Is there a reduction in the universities’facilities to accommodate limited slots for applicants? Is it only those competent enough are eligible for admissions that’s why the standard-rate based on GWA (General Weighted Average)is highly prioritized?
Here’s my assumption;
If grades are generally evaluated & performance-based for an applicant from another university/school, an applicant might met the following prescribed grade(s) via compromising or consensus mechanism to get sympathy from their respective professor(s) and mark an artificial & ridiculous grade from their transcript.Let’s just presume almost 32 % are involved in this issue, Is it still fair for the one’s risking to obtain a highest grade just to be admitted in the university?
These are just some of my concerns. But I totally respect the university’s system and excellent concept.
